Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Tree) by Behjat Sadr for GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,539.03). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Behjat Sadr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 96,250.00 (€ 111,643.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Tree) von Behjat Sadr für GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.539,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Behjat Sadr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.250,00 (€ 111.643,10).
