Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 963.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Beaumont Newhall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Henri Cartier-Bresson, 1946, which sold at auction in July 2018 for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,737.40).
