Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Four Hunters In A Parkland Landscape With Fallow Deer Beyond by Basil Nightingale. The price achieved of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 13,752.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Basil Nightingale have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2013 the work Breaking Cover was auctioned for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,425.63).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Hunters In A Parkland Landscape With Fallow Deer Beyond von Basil Nightingale zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.560,00 (€ 13.752,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Basil Nightingale konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2013 die Arbeit Breaking Cover für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.425,63) versteigert.
