In January 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Part II, which included the work Portrait Of A Vintner, Half-Length, In A Ruff And Black Hat by Bartolomeo Passarotti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,430.47), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bartolomeo Passarotti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Lope Varona Di Villanahue Of Burgos, Half Length With A Book In His Right Hand, which sold at auction in January 2016 for USD 286,000.00 (€ 264,032.50).

Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings & Sculpture Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Vintner, Half-Length, In A Ruff And Black Hat von Bartolomeo Passarotti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.430,47) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bartolomeo Passarotti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Lope Varona Di Villanahue Of Burgos, Half Length With A Book In His Right Hand beobachtet, die im Januar 2016 für USD 286.000,00 (€ 264.032,50) versteigert wurde.
