In the The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV auction, the work The Piazza del Popolo, Rome sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartholomeus Breenbergh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Classical Landscape With Mercury And Argos in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 102,750.00 (€ 167,320.96).

In der Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part IV wurde die Arbeit The Piazza del Popolo, Rome für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bartholomeus Breenbergh erzielen.
