Safra - Selling Without Reserve auction at Christies in New York in January this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 126,000.00 (€ 116,043.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Bartholomeus Breenbergh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2001 the work A Classical Landscape With Mercury And Argos was auctioned for GBP 102,750.00 (€ 167,320.96).
