Admittedly, works by Bartholomeus Breenbergh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Classical Landscape With Mercury And Argos in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 102,750.00 (€ 167,320.96).
