Auction result well in line with expectations
The work My Arrogant Son by Barry Reigate was sold in the Art For Grenfell auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,700.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barry Reigate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Real Special Very Painting, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,973.15).

Die Arbeit My Arrogant Son von Barry Reigate wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Art For Grenfell bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.700,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
