Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 704.00 (€ 808.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barry Mason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The extreme clipper Leander bowling along in the trade winds in May 2010 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,787.29).
