Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Winter scene by Barend Cornelis Koekkoek was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 89,459.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barend Cornelis Koekkoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Late afternoon with numerous skaters by a town in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 1,412,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Winter scene von Barend Cornelis Koekkoek wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 89.459,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barend Cornelis Koekkoek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Late afternoon with numerous skaters by a town im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.412.000,00.
