The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,520.00 (€ 10,900.83), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barbara Probst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Exposure #56, New York, 428 Broome Street 06.05.08 1:42 Pm. (A), 2008, which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 22,500.00.

Die Arbeit Exposure #87: N.Y.C, 401 Broadway, 03.15.11, 4:22 p.m. von Barbara Probst wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.520,00 (€ 10.900,83) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Barbara Probst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Exposure #56, New York, 428 Broome Street 06.05.08 1:42 Pm. (A), 2008 beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
