Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Martha Graham – Letter To The World – Kick' by Barbara Morgan for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,184.98). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Barbara Morgan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Martha Graham – "Letter To The World" (Kick)' in April 2020 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,820.63).
