Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Bao Shichen was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 207,000.00 (€ 19,252.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Admittedly, works by Bao Shichen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Manuscripts in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 153,543.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Bao Shichen kam im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 207.000,00 (€ 19.252,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bao Shichen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Manuscripts im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 153.543,01).
