In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary African Art, which included the work 2 Swenkas by Bambo Sibiya. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,094.30), 37% above the upper estimate. Other works by Bambo Sibiya have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,758.36) in October this year for the work Three Men Seated.

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2 Swenkas von Bambo Sibiya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.094,30) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Bambo Sibiya haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.758,36) im Oktober diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Three Men Seated beobachtet.
