Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Spirale (Spiral) by Balthasar Burkhard for EUR 375.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Balthasar Burkhard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Montagnes (Diptyque, Tirage Positif Et Tirage Négatif) in May 2009 with an auction result of EUR 31,950.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spirale (Spiral) von Balthasar Burkhard für EUR 375,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Balthasar Burkhard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Montagnes (Diptyque, Tirage Positif Et Tirage Négatif) im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.950,00.
