Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Eveil sur socle 113cm (44 1/2in). high by Baltasar Lobo was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 126,300.00 (€ 147,138.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Baltasar Lobo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pièce D'Eau, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 620,000.00 (€ 556,103.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Eveil sur socle 113cm (44 1/2in). high von Baltasar Lobo wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 126.300,00 (€ 147.138,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Baltasar Lobo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pièce D'Eau beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 620.000,00 (€ 556.103,69) versteigert wurde.
