In October 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Old Master Drawings and Engravings, which included the work Beggars by Baldassare Franceschini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baldassare Franceschini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 751,500.00 (€ 689,765.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beggars von Baldassare Franceschini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baldassare Franceschini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 751.500,00 (€ 689.765,95).
