Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work A Reclining Youth by Baldassare Franceschini for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,636.08). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings and Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baldassare Franceschini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 751,500.00 (€ 689,765.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Reclining Youth von Baldassare Franceschini für USD 1.890,00 (€ 1.636,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings and Drawings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baldassare Franceschini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 751.500,00 (€ 689.765,95).
