Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Studies Of Kneeling Apostles by Baldassare Franceschini was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,522.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baldassare Franceschini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 751,500.00 (€ 689,765.95).

Die Arbeit Two Studies Of Kneeling Apostles von Baldassare Franceschini kam im Januar 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.522,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baldassare Franceschini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of the Marchese Altoviti as Hylas im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 751.500,00 (€ 689.765,95).
