Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work SNM3A-017 from Sonamoo by Bae Bien-U was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,757.71), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bae Bien-U - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sonamu SNM3A-004 & Sonamu SNM3A-002, which sold at auction in May 2007 for HKD 1,080,000.00 (€ 102,838.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit SNM3A-017 from Sonamoo von Bae Bien-U wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.757,71) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Bae Bien-U mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sonamu SNM3A-004 & Sonamu SNM3A-002 beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für HKD 1.080.000,00 (€ 102.838,03) versteigert wurde.
