Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,651.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chahar So (Mecca), which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,287.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish ArtPart II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.651,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chahar So (Mecca) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.287,59) versteigert wurde.
