Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iranian noor (Light) by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,677.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chahar So (Mecca), which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,287.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iranian noor (Light) von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.677,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chahar So (Mecca) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.287,59) versteigert wurde.
