In April 2012 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Ringlet by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,008.09), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Chahar So (Mecca) sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,287.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2012 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ringlet von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.008,09) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Chahar So (Mecca) im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.287,59).
