This work without title by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi was sold in the Hurouf: The Art of The Word auction at Sothebys in Doha in December 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,072.73), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chahar So (Mecca), which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,287.59).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Hurouf: The Art of The Word bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.072,73) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Azra Aghighi Bakhshayeshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chahar So (Mecca) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.287,59) versteigert wurde.
