The work Den vita björken by Axel Törneman was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in June 2010. It achieved a price of SEK 21,000.00 (€ 2,202.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Törneman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Ungdom" (Youth) in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 600,000.00 (€ 69,779.29).

Die Arbeit Den vita björken von Axel Törneman kam im Juni 2010 bei Bukowski in Helsinki zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 21.000,00 (€ 2.202,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Törneman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Ungdom" (Youth) im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 600.000,00 (€ 69.779,29).
