Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Axel Olson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2021. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Sketch for the theater in Halmstad sold for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,567.16) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Olson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Woman figure in gray and black" in November this year with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 140,520.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Axel Olson erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit Sketch for the theater in Halmstad für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.567,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Olson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Woman figure in gray and black" im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 140.520,72).
