Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Fiskläget" by Axel Nilsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,519.25). Admittedly, works by Axel Nilsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Flickan och bron" (The girl and the bridge) or "The islets" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 22,852.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Fiskläget" von Axel Nilsson im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.519,25) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Nilsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Flickan och bron" (The girl and the bridge) or "The islets" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 22.852,02).
