It achieved a price of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,822.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Axel Nilsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Flickan och bron" (The girl and the bridge) or "The islets" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 22,852.02).

Die Arbeit "Utsikt från Stadsgården" (View from Stadsgården, Stockholm) von Axel Nilsson kam im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.822,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Nilsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Flickan och bron" (The girl and the bridge) or "The islets" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 22.852,02).
