Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work ”Två herrar vid stranden betraktar ekorre i träd” (Two men by the beach watching a squirrel in a tree) by Axel Fridell. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,339.21), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Axel Fridell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Einar Forseth in May 2020 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,752.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit ”Två herrar vid stranden betraktar ekorre i träd” (Two men by the beach watching a squirrel in a tree) von Axel Fridell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.339,21) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Axel Fridell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Einar Forseth im Mai 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.752,75).
