This artwork by Axel Fridell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2020. In the Refining Taste: Works Selected by Danny Katz auction, the work Einar Forseth sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,752.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. This high result makes Einar Forseth the most expensive artwork by Axel Fridell that we have observed at auctions so far.
