Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel, which included the work Vase of Flowers by Avigdor Stematsky. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,416.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Avigdor Stematsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract Composition in December 2017 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,954.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19th & 20th Century Art at the Hilton Hotel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase of Flowers von Avigdor Stematsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.416,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Avigdor Stematsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract Composition im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.954,25).
