Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Austin Lee could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Untitled" changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,966.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Austin Lee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drowning in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 66,979.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Austin Lee konnte im April 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Untitled" für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.966,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Austin Lee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drowning im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 66.979,71).
