Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Meeting by Austin Lee was auctioned at Phillips in 7 - in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 101,600.00 (€ 12,258.43). Admittedly, works by Austin Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drowning in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,600.00 (€ 66,979.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Meeting von Austin Lee kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 101.600,00 (€ 12.258,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Austin Lee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drowning im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.600,00 (€ 66.979,71).
