Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included this untitled work by Augustin Ubeda. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,451.28). Admittedly, works by Augustin Ubeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 6,166.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Augustin Ubeda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.451,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Augustin Ubeda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.166,00.
