Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Ensemble de 2 huiles sur toile by Augustin Ubeda. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,574.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Augustin Ubeda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 6,166.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ensemble de 2 huiles sur toile von Augustin Ubeda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.574,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Augustin Ubeda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 6.166,00 versteigert wurde.
