Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (townscape) by Augustin Ubeda for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,590.08). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Augustin Ubeda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 6,166.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (townscape) von Augustin Ubeda für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.590,08) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Augustin Ubeda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 6.166,00 versteigert wurde.
