This artwork by Augustin Carrera achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2013. In the Modern Art auction, the work Reflets, 1906 sold for EUR 1,559.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Augustin Carrera - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Lavendou, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,437.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Augustin Carrera erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Reflets, 1906 für EUR 1.559,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Augustin Carrera mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Lavendou beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.437,02) versteigert wurde.
