Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage dans le midi de la France by Augustin Carrera was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,562.50. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Augustin Carrera - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Lavendou, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,437.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage dans le midi de la France von Augustin Carrera kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.562,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Augustin Carrera mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Lavendou beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.437,02) versteigert wurde.
