One hundred and thirty-five sheets, approximately one hundred and three sihouettes applied to a lithographic base heightened with watercolour washes, nine silhouettes on brown wash, one brown wash and twenty-two lithographs, all bound in marble boards;
extensively inscribed with names of the sitters, many inscribed by the sitters themselves, dated between 1833 and 1834

Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work An Album Of Silhouettes Of 'Irish Characters' by Augustin Amant Constant Fidèle Edouart. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Augustin Amant Constant Fidèle Edouart have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2014 the work An Album Of Silhouettes Of ‘Irish Characters' was auctioned for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 40,992.72).
