Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Loschwitzgrund mit Gasthof Eule. by August Kotzsch was auctioned at Grisebach in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by August Kotzsch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2000 the work Melone; and Schafherde was auctioned for USD 1,762.50 (€ 1,939.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Loschwitzgrund mit Gasthof Eule. von August Kotzsch kam im Dezember 2020 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von August Kotzsch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2000 die Arbeit Melone; and Schafherde für USD 1.762,50 (€ 1.939,16) versteigert.
