Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fourteen Works: I was not waving but drowning - II by Atul Bhalla was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 11,863.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Atul Bhalla have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Yamuna morning IV was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,390.93).
