However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Atul Bhalla - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yamuna morning IV, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 16,390.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.770,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Atul Bhalla mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yamuna morning IV beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 16.390,93) versteigert wurde.
