Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Sunflower by Asim Abu Shakra. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 80,500.00 (€ 53,688.14). Other works by Asim Abu Shakra have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 81,250.00 (€ 75,644.73) in March 2015 for the work Neckties.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunflower von Asim Abu Shakra zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 80.500,00 (€ 53.688,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Asim Abu Shakra haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 75.644,73) im März 2015 für die Arbeit Neckties beobachtet.
