Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Grill Cut Out with Butterfly by Ashley Longshore was auctioned at Bonhams in July this year. It achieved a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,613.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ashley Longshore - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dick and Blow, 2020, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 7,040.00 (€ 6,651.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Grill Cut Out with Butterfly von Ashley Longshore kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.613,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ashley Longshore mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dick and Blow, 2020 beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 7.040,00 (€ 6.651,55) versteigert wurde.
