Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 968.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Asahel Curtis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Rainier;, which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,443.62).
