Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work When Words Have Lost Their Meaning by Arturo Sanchez for HKD 6,250.00 (€ 659.47). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Sanchez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Between Obscured Memories in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit When Words Have Lost Their Meaning von Arturo Sanchez für HKD 6.250,00 (€ 659,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Sanchez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Between Obscured Memories im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42).
