The work See Through Objects by Arturo Sanchez was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,476.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arturo Sanchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Between Obscured Memories, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).

Die Arbeit See Through Objects von Arturo Sanchez wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.476,15) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arturo Sanchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Between Obscured Memories beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
