Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fragmented Memory by Arturo Sanchez was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 4,848.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arturo Sanchez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Between Obscured Memories, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).

Die Arbeit Fragmented Memory von Arturo Sanchez kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 4.848,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arturo Sanchez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Between Obscured Memories beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
