This work without title by Arthur Spronken was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 5,040.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Admittedly, works by Arthur Spronken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reclining nude in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Arthur Spronken wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.040,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Spronken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reclining nude im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
