The work Horse by Arthur Spronken was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 10,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Spronken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 30,000.00.

Die Arbeit Horse von Arthur Spronken kam im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Spronken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert wurde.
